The National Junior Honor Society chapter of Delta Middle School is a chartered and affiliated chapter of this prestigious national organization. Membership is open to students who meet required standards in five areas: scholarship, leadership, service, citizenship, and character. Students in the seventh and eighth grade at DMS are eligible for membership. We meet once a month as a chapter to plan projects, and an additional meeting once a month for our officers. Throughout the school year, our focus is service. This service includes both service to our school, as well as the local community. Over the last several years our students diligently worked to conduct food, clothing and book drives. Next year we are planning to expand our service work to include some campus improvement projects.
